' AnaPana Sati' is a Pali language term which simply means 'staying mindful of the breath' Purpose: To develop concentration (samadhi) and awareness (sati), leading to deeper insights. But here you need not to get caught into higher realizations. (You would naturally brainstorm and get answers to deal with real problems. This is not the main goal though.) You need to sit down and pay attention to the breath at the area of nose where air/ breath touches naturally. *Do not force the process, just observe it as naturally happening. Key aspects here: Come to the breath whenever your mind wonders to any other thoughts whether it is good or bad, When you realize that mind is not at the breath, without being sorry (this is important) again focus on the breath.
